Partner of the Year Luncheon
November 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm$25.00
Public Education Partners is pleased to announce that their annual Partner of the Year Luncheon will take place at noon on November 20, 2017 at the TD Convention Center. In two ways, this luncheon reflects PEP’s mission to collaborate with community partners to strengthen student achievement in Greenville County Schools.
First, PEP honors a local business as PEP’s Partner of the Year due to its investment of time, talent, and treasure in supporting Greenville’s schools. Due to its generous support for the Greenville Alternative Teacher Education (GATE) program, as well as its support of many other education-related initiatives and efforts across Greenville and South Carolina, this year’s Partner of the Year is Duke Energy.
Second, the luncheon represents a community convening to learn from, be challenged by, and engage with a compelling leader in the education sector. Dr. Paul Reville is this year’s keynote speaker. Dr. Reville’s remarks will focus on how to build a silo-breaking 21st century “engine for education” to restore social mobility and ensure that all kids can reach their full potential.
