Neha is the Program Director for Public Education Partners and brings 3 years of teaching and mentoring experience to PEP.
She is responsible for creating, planning, and implementing initiatives within PEP’s Portfolio of Programs that enable the success of students and teachers throughout Greenville County. She will be the lead for PEP’s work with the Make Summer Count reading program and programs that focus on quality teaching.
Neha has a double bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English from The University of South Carolina. She is also currently working on her Master’s in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University.
Prior to joining PEP in January 2017, she taught in Memphis as part of Teach for America at Freedom Preparatory Academy and A. Maceo Walker Middle School. Having been in the classroom so recently, Neha brings an understanding of teacher needs, student behavior, data analysis, and school development to the PEP team.
While Neha could talk about education and educational policy all day, outside the office she loves to do crossword puzzles, read Ira Levin novels, and watch movies on Netflix. You might also find her at the gym training to run her first 10K. Neha is also fanatical about her South Carolina Gamecocks.
Most Rewarding Aspect of Working with PEP
PEP’s commitment to public education
“Public Education Partners is helping enable student growth and school development. It’s rare to find an organization that truly is committed to student success at every level – the primary reason I feel so blessed to be joining this organization.”
