Craig Stine

Senior Researcher


Craig is the Senior Researcher for Public Education Partners and brings more than 25 years of experience in Greenville’s non-profit sector and 7 years of experience from government and the private sector to PEP.

He is responsible for advancing the PEP mission by managing PEP’s research and data analysis needs. Craig will remain informed about education-related research and data, as well as federal, state, and local policy, to better inform PEP’s programming and advocacy efforts.

Craig has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Manchester College (IN). He also has his Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University.

Craig rejoined the PEP team in 2017 after working as Public Policy and Research Manager from 2004-2014. He has also worked as the Project Coordinator for Pleasant Valley Connection, the Planning Director for the Community Planning Council/United Way, and many other roles in the world of advocacy and public policy. Craig brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in research and data analysis, state legislation and budgets, communication, and project management.

Craig has been married to his wife, Jeannette Wilcox, for 37 years and has two adult children. Outside of the office, you might find Craig hiking, cycling, or playing tennis. He also enjoys landscaping around his home and watching college and professional sports.
